Modular work footwear

The work shoe that
outlasts the work.

Snap-in replacement outsoles on a single, serviceable upper. Kitchens, hospitals and hotels resole instead of replacing — cutting the four-to-eight month churn of disposable non-slip footwear.

The system

Four steps.
One shoe on the floor.

The replaceable outsole is the load-bearing idea. The upper is the chassis; the tread is the consumable. You stop buying shoes; you keep a shoe and resole it.

  1. STEP 01Wear

One upper, kept by the worker

A serviceable leather-free upper with replaceable insoles, laces and linings. Sized and broken in once.

  2. STEP 02Watch

    The tread tells you when

Certified slip-resistant outsoles expose a wear indicator before grip fails. You see it on shift, not in a return window.

    2 / 4
  3. STEP 03Unsnap

    Eight seconds, no tools

The outsole releases with a half-turn of the heel key — no glue, no heat, no service trip. Drop the old tread in the compostable mailer.

  4. STEP 04Snap in

    New grip, same upper

A fresh tread kit clicks into the same chassis. The shoe you broke in for 40 hours is back on the floor by lunch.

The mechanical bit

The quarter-turn collar is the whole invention.

Most shoes are glued assemblies. We treated the outsole as a wear part: threaded into a stainless collar at the heel, indexed to a matching profile at the toe. A half-turn of the heel key locks it. The same key releases it for the next kit.

  • No adhesive, so the upper is never destroyed by a re-tread.
  • A wear indicator under the heel pad tells you before grip fails.
  • The kit ships in compostable packaging at about a third of a new pair.
